It might seem a little early to be sharing word of an event in October, but since tickets typically sell out quickly, we want to be sure you are given ample notice.
For Upper Arlington’s 100th year, the Historical Society developed a Centennial version of its trolley tour. Patrons visit sites of note from the community’s early beginnings, with a tour guide sharing interesting insight on these pivotal locations and buildings, all from the comfort of a trolley-style bus.
The fall version of the tour is scheduled for Saturday, October 27. Reservations are required for the tour, with various times to choose from. Tickets are priced at $20 per person for Historical Society members, and $25 for non-members. Visit www.uahistory.org for tour times and to reserve your seat.
UA History Book
If you have not yet seen the latest UA history book—100: A Cherished Past, A Golden Future—it would make for some interesting summertime reading.
Members of the Historical Society undertook this labor of love over many months, not just bringing the last Upper Arlington history book up to date, but starting from scratch and soliciting the help of a professional writer to pull it all together.
